The Trees in York Road between Trinity House and No. 27 York Road, Tunbridge Wells



The planting of trees was a condition for granting planning permission No. 82/0448, to be implemented by 31.12.82

The reason of this condition was:
"to protect and enhance the appearance and character of the site and locality."



There was once a group of trees in York Road, on Telephone House site, contributing to the visual amenities in the Conservation Area of Tunbridge Wells -
the trees were part of York Road's streetscape.

Then CALA Homes moved in !
