Has our station been painted?
The train station at the heart of our town has finally been painted - or has it?
Last year, in 2004, with the arrival of South Eastern Trains we were promised that our decrepit station would be cleaned and painted.
Now that the work has been completed can you spot the difference?
After inspecting the station Archie said: "Although performance on our line is slightly better, fares have gone up well above inflation. The stations are still in a shabby state and disabled access is poor. Local people are entitled to feel angry about the state of our railway."
